Who We Are

Our Story

In 2010, our founder, Princess Genevieve Ikenchukwu, visited a small village in Nigeria and witnessed the harsh realities faced by many orphaned and vulnerable children, particularly girls. Moved by the stories of young girls subjected to domestic violence and denied access to education, she was determined to make a difference.

Our Mission

Queen Grace Ikenchukwu Foundation was born from the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment and the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Our mission is to protect, educate, and empower orphaned and vulnerable children, with a special focus on girl children, who are often the most marginalized.

Why We Focus on Girls

In Nigeria, a significant number of girls face domestic violence, forced marriages, and a severe lack of educational opportunities. These issues are rarely discussed, and the silence exacerbates their struggles. By shining a light on these challenges, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and abuse that traps many young girls.
